Summary
Damion was an average kid, though his childhood was a little under average. His dad left the family when Damion was little and his mother doesn't have a job and they sometimes have to cut corners. But his grades were average, his friends were average, and he had an average life set out in front of him. Until he has the Dream. Now everything in real life slowly looks worse and worse for him compared to the Dream, and soon Damion dreads waking up every day. What will he do to stay in the Dream? How far will he go?

"Damion wake up, you have to go to school!"a voice called from the kitchen down the hall way. The young man in the bed yawned, fluttering open his eyes "Thanks Mom! he called, turning up his room light. "Wake up Nora, we have to go to school" Damion whispered, shaking her little sister "I don't wanna go to school though. I wanna stay home" Nora mumbled, stuffing her face into the soft pillow she slept on. "Then you better be a very good actor, because Mom will only let you stay home if you're sick" Damion laughed, walking towards the wardrobe in which the siblings shared "Now hurry up, we don't want to keep Mom waiting" Damion heard his sister sigh and get up, a small victory smile appearing on his face. "Oh, don't look so smug. Mom would have gotten me up if you hadn't" Nora grumbled, but there was a smile on her face too.
